Books, books and more books

We've spent a bit of time this weekend reorganizing books in our playroom. Yikes, we have a few! We have created a colorful rainbow shelf with our picture books and could not be happier! It adds to the bright, happy atmosphere and we're finding it easier to quickly locate books because we remember the color of the cover.

Class Reading Log

A great way to keep track of the books you have read in the classroom is to create a class reading log. We have an owl and crocodile giant list ready for you to print and display! As your class shares book, you can add the title to the spine of the next book on the stack.

We always recommend teaching with a picture book to provide engagement or stimulus. We try to share as many ideas with you for book lessons as we can. Find posts on our favorite books right here on the blog!
